About the Role

The Operations Supervisor leads an office-based team responsible for EDI order processing and import/domestic logistics. This team ensures orders from retailers and eCommerce channels are accurately entered, tracked, and delivered on time.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise and develop a team of EDI order processors handling electronic orders, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues.
  • Oversee domestic and international shipping operations, including ocean, air, LTL/FTL, container, and parcel shipments, ensuring timely and compliant delivery.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and manage carrier relationships to secure competitive rates, reliable service, and optimal routing strategies.
  • Monitor freight market trends and shipping-related factors (carrier rate changes, capacity constraints, fuel surcharges), and recommend mitigation strategies to leadership.
  • Establish, implement, and continuously improve SOPs to ensure operational efficiency and consistency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Accounting teams to ensure smooth and accurate process execution.
  • Coach, mentor, and lead team members by directing workflows, resolving operational challenges, and conducting performance management.
  • Support department reporting, budgeting, and operational planning to align operational performance with organizational goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 5–8+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, inventory management, or related supply chain roles
  • Experience operating in a consumer products environment supporting retail and/or eCommerce channels
  • Demonstrated expertise in MRP/ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar)
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, data modeling)
  • Strong understanding of supply chain fundamentals including inventory theory, lead time management, and demand-supply balancing
  • Experience participating in and influencing S&OP processes
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders
  • Prior experience mentoring or informally leading others preferred

Title: Operations Supervisor  
Wage Range: $70,000.00 USD- $80,000.00 USD
Location: Onsite Chino, CA
