Warehouse Associate, Shipping & Receiving
| The Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate is a hands-on warehouse role responsible for receiving, inspecting, staging, documenting, and processing inbound and outbound shipments. The position maintains accurate receiving records, communicates shipment updates, and performs required equipment inspections. |
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments for quantity, accuracy, and damage.
- Update and maintain Excel receiving logs and shipment history.
- Track receipts and provide status updates to internal departments.
- Respond to department inquiries regarding receiving requests and shipment status.
- Stage inbound and outbound shipments and verify items against supporting documentation.
- Audit staging areas and shipping/receiving documents for accuracy.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and required documentation.
- Coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries and assist with loading/unloading.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintain required checklist and maintenance logs.
- Provide weekly equipment inspection updates and report maintenance or safety concerns to the Warehouse Lead.
- Maintain organized shipping, receiving, and staging areas.
- Follow all warehouse procedures and safety requirements.
What you bring to the role:
- 1–3 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.
- Basic Microsoft Excel and data-entry skills.
- Experience with shipping/receiving systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
- Forklift certification preferred or required based on assigned duties.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse environment.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift products throughout the workday.
- Ability to frequently lift and move 25–50 lbs.
- Location: Onsite Chino, CA M-F, 8:30-5:30
