Direct Import Operations Supervisor- 外贸运营主管
About the Role
We are seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead domestic and international transportation operations. This role is responsible for ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and on-time movement of goods across ocean, air, LTL, FTL, container, and parcel channels. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who drives operational efficiency, strengthens carrier partnerships, and continuously improves logistics processes.
Please note: This position is not located in a warehouse or distribution center. It is based in a corporate office environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee end-to-end domestic and international shipping operations, ensuring timely and compliant delivery across all transportation modes.
- Monitor shipments, proactively resolve delays and exceptions, and manage claims through reimbursement.
- Develop delivery schedules and drop shipment strategies aligned with operational and customer requirements.
- Establish and improve logistics SOPs to drive accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Review shipping documentation and audit freight invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Evaluate, negotiate, and manage carrier relationships to secure competitive rates and reliable service.
- Conduct transportation cost analyses and recommend routing strategies that balance cost, service, and capacity.
- Source and qualify new carriers to expand network capabilities and mitigate risk.
- Monitor market conditions, including rate fluctuations and capacity constraints, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Partner cross-functionally with warehouse, sales, brokers, carriers, and customers to ensure seamless execution.
- Lead and develop logistics team members, including performance management and operational oversight.
- Support budgeting, reporting, and planning initiatives aligned with company goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics or transportation management, including domestic and international shipments.
- Strong knowledge of freight modes, carrier management, customs processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing full-cycle shipping operations, cost analysis, and route optimization.
- Proficiency in TMS/ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated leadership experience supervising and developing team members.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred.
Title: Logistics/Operations Supervisor
Wage Range: $70,000.00 USD- $80,000.00 USD
Location: Onsite Chino, CA
